At only 20 years old, JoJo Siwa has quickly become one of the most promising recruits on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test Season 2. While appearing on this morning’s episode of The View, the Dance Moms alum revealed the advice she gave fellow co-star Tom Sandoval when they were going through the grueling selection process.

The FOX show follows celebrities as they undergo military training led by ex-Special Force operatives. Taking place in the wintery New Zealand mountains, the show forces the recruits to take part in brutal training activities — or voluntarily withdraw themselves from the course.

“I think being ripped away from everything we know, you just get stripped down to your core,” Siwa told The View panel. “You get stripped down to exactly the human that you are.”

At the time that Season 2 was filmed, Sandoval was facing backlash from the world after he had recently been exposed for cheating on his years-long girlfriend Ariana Madix with their mutual close friend and former Vanderpump Rules co-star Rachel “Raquel” Leviss.

“Tom Sandoval was there and, of course, it was right as Scandoval was going on and so he was very in his head about a lot of things,” Siwa recalled. “I told him all the time, I was like, ‘Tom, none of us care here. No offense. Your problems are the least of our worries while we’re here.'”

To the surprise of many, Sandoval has been going strong on Special Forces — despite getting beaten up by Jack Osbourne and labeled as “pathetic” by the directing staff (DS).

Siwa — who recently went viral for slinging Sandoval over her shoulders and carrying him back to camp — further reflected on her time filming the survival show.

“At some point, you do think there’s gonna be some sort of element of Hollywood,” she said. “I knew we weren’t going to The Ritz after, I knew we weren’t having craft services. But I thought, like, we’ll see craft services but not be able to get to it. We’ll see the earpieces in the DS’s ear. There’s no earpiece. There’s no craft services.”

Whoopi Goldberg then added, “They’re not playing out there! That’s why I’m not going!”

The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC. Plus, new episodes of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test air on Monday nights at 9/8c on Fox.
