Apple Released A First Look At ‘Argylle,’ Henry Cavill’s Latest Jaunt As Suave Spy

007, who? Henry Cavill transforms into secret agent Argylle in the new trailer for Matthew Vaughn‘s upcoming action film, Argylle.

The movie, written by Jason Fuchs (Wonder Woman), follows author Elly Conway (Bryce Dallas Howard), whose spy novels surrounding the world of Cavill’s agent Argylle ultimately end up mirroring an actual, real-life spy organization.

Accompanied by her trusty cat Alfie — who is played by supermodel Claudia Vaughn’s (née Schiffer) cat, Chip — and Aiden (Sam Rockwell), a spy who is allergic to cats, Elly is introduced to the literary world of espionage she created in a way she never thought possible.

With Rockwell in tow as a gun-toting spy, this is certainly giving us Mr. Right vibes.

The A-list Argylle cast also features pop artist Dua Lipa, John Cena, Bryan Cranston, Samuel L. Jackson, Catherine O’Hara, Ariana DeBose and Sofia Boutella.

Being a spy movie, the film showcases some intense stunts. Haruka Ohshima, known for her stunt work in other action films such as Skyscraper and No Time To Die, serves as the stunt double for Dallas Howard’s Elly Conway, per IMDb.

The film is a collaboration between Universal Pictures and Apple, which means an eventual Apple TV+ release for fans unable to catch it in theaters, per Collider. The outlet also noted its box office competitors as Robert De Niro‘s gangster crime film Wise Guys and the horror film Imaginary.

Argylle hits theaters on Feb. 2. Watch the trailer above.
