There’s no shortage of exciting new shows to watch: Season 3 of Starstuck is now on Max, new episodes of Love Is Blind recently dropped on Netflix, and the first three episodes of Gen V, Prime Video’s spinoff of The Boys, are now on Amazon.
So much TV, so little time.
You can also watch two episodes of Yellowstone tonight, but, sadly, they’re reruns. CBS has been airing Season 1 episodes on Sunday nights. As always, you can rewatch all five seasons of the popular modern Western on Peacock Premium. But what about the next new episode of Paramount Network’s smash hit? When will Yellowstone return from hiatus? Here’s everything we know.
Is Yellowstone on Tonight (October 1)?
Yes… but it’s a rerun. The fourth and fifth episodes of Yellowstone (“The Long Black Train” and “Coming Home”) are scheduled to air tonight from 8:00-10:00 p.m. ET on CBS, with additional Season 1 episodes airing Sunday nights on the network.
It’s possible, however, that the start time will be delayed due to NFL football.
When Does Yellowstone Return With New Episodes?
Nobody really knows. In January, it was announced that the final six episodes of Yellowstone Season 5 would debut in the summer of 2023. Obviously, that didn’t happen. Back in May, Deadline reported that Paramount Network was eyeing a November 2023 release date. November always seemed aspirational at best, with The Hollywood Reporter even noting back in June that a November 2023 return seemed “highly unlikely.”
The writers’ strike is thankfully over, but the SAG-AFTRA strike is still ongoing. Production on the final episodes of the series has yet to begin, so the situation remains in flux. Unfortunately, we don’t expect new episodes of Yellowstone to air on Paramount Network anytime soon.
