David Schwimmer is mourning the loss of Matthew Perry with by sharing one of his “favorite moments” spent on set with his late Friends co-star.

Schwimmer’s Ross Geller and Perry’s Chandler Bing went from college roommates and friends to brothers-in-law on the hit NBC sitcom after Chandler married Ross’ sister Monica (Courteney Cox).

Sharing a picture of the two of them donning eighties-inspired suits in the Season 5 Thanksgiving episode, “The One with the Thanksgiving Flashbacks,” Schwimmer thanked Perry “for ten incredible years of laughter and creativity,” per TVLine.

“I will never forget your impeccable comic timing and delivery,” he wrote. “You could take a straight line of dialogue and bend it to your will, resulting in something so entirely original and unexpectedly funny it still astonishes.”

He noted that Perry also “had heart.”

“Which you were generous with, and shared with us, so we could create a family out of six strangers,” he continued. “This photo is from one of my favorite moments with you. Now it makes me smile and grieve at the same time. I imagine you up there, somewhere, in the same white suit, hands in your pockets, looking around— ‘Could there BE any more clouds?’”

Schwimmer’s post follows the individual tributes from fellow Friends stars Matt LeBlanc, Cox, and Jennifer Aniston, which were all shared within the last day.

Together with co-star Lisa Kudrow, the five stars shared an emotional joint statement to People published on Oct. 31, sharing how they are “so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew.”

“We were more than just cast mates. We are a family,” they added. “There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss. In time we will say more, as and when we are able. For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world.”

Other co-stars and friends of his have mourned his passing, including series creators Marta Kauffman, David Crane, and series EP Kevin Bright.

“We are shocked and deeply, deeply saddened by our beloved friend Matthew’s passing,” the three wrote in a statement to People. “t still seems impossible. All we can say is that we feel blessed to have had him as part of our lives. He was a brilliant talent.”
