FX’s critically-acclaimed original series The Bear is back for Season 2, and you won’t want to miss a second of Carmy, Syd, Richie, and the rest of the kitchen crew as they transform their Chicago restaurant into something greater.

Season 2 of the show will undergo many changes both in and outside of the kitchen, as characters not only work to rebuild the restaurant, but will look to improve themselves as both chefs and human beings.

In the Season 1 finale of Christopher Storer’s critically acclaimed series, the kitchen team uncovers money that the late Mikey had hidden inside sauce cans. With that money, Carmy will renovate and rebrand the restaurant in his brother’s honor.

In the show, the restaurant is set in Chicago, and much of the series is spent both in and outside of the restaurant. But where did The Bear Season 2 actually film?

Read on to learn about The Bear filming locations, for Season 2 of the FX series now streaming on Hulu.

Where was The Bear filmed?

As with Season 1, Season 2 of The Bear was mostly filmed in Chicago, Illinois.

According to IMDb, one of the show’s filming locations is the iconic Chicago restaurant that inspired it, Mr. Beef On Orleans, 666 N Orleans Street. Many of the other shots were captured around the city of Chicago as well as at Cinespace Chicago Film Studios, where production on the Hulu show is based out of.

In Episode 3 (“Sundae”), Sydney goes on a food tour of Chicago in search of inspiration for The Bear’s Chaos Menu, including stops at Kasama (in Chicago’s East Ukranian Village), Publican Quality Meats (located in Chicago’s Fulton Market neighborhood), and Avec (where she seeks advice from the famous restauranteur Donnie Madia).
