Alex Murdaugh’s Son Buster Will Break His Silence in New Fox Nation Docuseries ‘The Fall of the House of Murdaugh’

South Carolina attorney Alex Murdaugh was found guilty of killing his wife and son in March, and has since earned a life sentence in prison, but the public still craves answers as to why he would commit such a vile crime, and to loved ones, nonetheless.

FOX Nation is about to dig even deeper into the case. The platform just announced The Fall of the House of Murdaugh, a three-hour-long docuseries that “features exclusive access to the family, friends and defense team of Alex Murdaugh” and is set to debut on the platform Sept. 12.

According to a release sent out today by the platform, the three-part limited series will feature sit-down interviews with high-profile figures connected to the case. It will also feature the first televised interview with Murdaugh’s only living son, Richard Alexander “Buster” Murdaugh.

Hosted by Fox News Channel anchor Martha MacCallum, the program will also include interviews with “court clerk Rebecca Hill, local attorney Joe McCulloch, Moselle dog kennel manager Roger Dale Davis Jr., Walterboro Mayor William T. Young Jr., [and] the prosecution’s forensic expert Dr. Kenneth Kinsey.”

The docuseries will also include “behind-the-scenes footage before and during the trial, never-before-seen home movies, as well as intimate prison revelations from Alex himself.”

FOX Nation is certainly not the first platform to tackle the case, which gripped the public’s interest earlier this year. Netflix dropped Murdaugh Murders: A Southern Scandal in February, while Max released Low Country: The Murdaugh Dynasty in November 2022. FOX’s release is the first docuseries about the case to debut after Murdaugh’s guilty verdict.

For those interested in watching The Fall of the House of Murdaugh, you can tune into FOX Nation on Sept. 12. You can watch Netflix and Max’s docuseries in the meantime, or listen to the Murdaugh Murders podcast.
