Where To Watch ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ Live: What Time, Streaming Info, and More

With fall comes football. And according to ESPN, with football, comes Pat McAfee.

The former Indiana Colts punter returns to host The Pat McAfee Show, which he first debuted on Barstool in 2017.

The sports channel announced that McAfee’s sports talk show will air from noon to 3 p.m. ET every weekday, and will be available to watch on ESPN, ESPN+, and ESPN’s YouTube channel.

According to Sports Illustrated, McAfee left FanDuel in May to accept a five-year $85 million contract with ESPN, which still granted him creative control over his show, including the ability to interview guests outside of ESPN on the show.

According to The New York Post, the deal is reportedly $35 million less than a four-year deal offered to him at FanDuel, to which he replied “interesting number” when asked about the deficit between the two offers.

He also told the outlet in May via DM that he “will be paying [his] people and [they] will be producing the show fully.”

He continued, “[ESPN] will be handling a lot more of the backend stuff, while also providing a platform that is incomparable linear wise with a network of talent that is deep and awesome. Their production assets, league rights capabilities, and access to everything in the sports world makes us incredibly pumped about the possibilities and can’t wait to get started this fall.”

This is not McAfee’s first gig with ESPN, as he appeared on the network’s College GameDay in 2019 and 2020, and officially joined the show as a panelist in September 2022, according to a previous ESPN press release.

“Pat is exceptionally talented and entertaining, and he was so well-received in his previous stint on College GameDay that we’ve wanted to reunite him with the show ever since,” said Jimmy Pitaro, Chairman, ESPN and Sports Content, last fall.

He added, “We’re thrilled Pat is returning to ESPN for college football and for even more opportunities in the years ahead.”

The first game of the 2023-2024 NFL regular season is a match-up between the Detroit Lions and last year’s Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Pat McAfee Show kicks off tomorrow, Sept. 7, at 12 p.m. ET on ESPN, ESPN+, and ESPN’s YouTube channel. ESPN+ subscriptions cost $9.99/month, or prospective subscribers can purchase an annual plan for $99.99/year.
