Taylor Ann Green had a lot of ‘splaining to do on the most recent episode of Southern Charm. After she and Austen Kroll finally came clean about their secret kiss, the reality star appeared on Thursday night’s (Oct. 12) episode of Watch What Happens Live, where she revealed just why she decided to lay her lips on her ex-boyfriend Shep Rose‘s BFF.

Green and Kroll’s close friendship began getting called into question after it came out that she spent the night at his house. While the cast only brought up one instance of this happening on Southern Charm, Green told Andy Cohen that she’s actually “crashed there probably about 10-15 times.”

Despite Kroll’s ex-girlfriend and co-star Madison LeCroy claiming he doesn’t have a bed in his guest room, Green promised that he has one in “both” of his guest rooms — even though one is “on the floor.”

As for why she kissed Kroll — who also happens to be the ex-fling to her best pal, Olivia Flowers — Green said it was out of “curiosity.” And after all, “curiosity killed the cat.”

The former dental assistant also admitted she was more worried about Flowers finding out about their makeout session than she was about Rose — whom she dated for two years before he broke her heart. However, she decided to keep it a secret because Kroll was the “vet” and she was “following in his foottracks,” which, according to her, “maybe isn’t a good idea.”

While they initially decided to keep things “hush-hush,” Kroll ultimately spilled the truth to Rose, forcing Green to retract her lie and come clean to Flowers. When Cohen asked why she thought Kroll wouldn’t give in to pressure, she said it was because he “said he was gonna keep his word.”

“OK. Have you seen the show?” Cohen sarcastically responded.

In light of everything, Green told the Bravo boss that she and Kroll are “still good friends” — and insisted to her co-guest Jax Taylor that their controversy was nothing like the Scandoval that shook Vanderpump Rules.

“Nobody was dating anybody,” she assured. “Everybody was single.”

Southern Charm airs on Thursday nights at 9/8c on Bravo. Plus, Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo.

New episodes of both shows are available to stream on Peacock the next day.
